At Garlic & Pearls we love the writings of Dorothy L. Sayers and her book The Nine Tailors served as the launching point for Suzanne's episode about English Bellringing (Season 1, episode 103). To bring you the episode we had to seek permission from the estate of Dorothy L. Sayers to use some quotations from the book and Jasmine at the Dorothy L. Sayers Society was kind enough to point us in the right direction and give us a little feature in the July edition of the Society Bulletin.
The Society's aim is to support and promote the appreciation of the many aspects of Sayers' work and interests. This is done through events, publications, the support they give to writers, musicians, actors, designers, young bell ringers, and in promotion of other areas related to Sayers' life and works.
